So I've arrived in Auckland, and let me tell ya. I thought I new jet lag.....I was wrong. Now I know only to well how shit it can make you feel. Well following my flights I touched down eager to meet new people and get myself a new job. The hostels great, just imagine a uni style feel to the place with its own bar, travel agents, job centre, internet cafe. The place is massive. But heres the prob, no one will talk to me!!! I swear Im having flashbacks to my first day of primary school people. I don't no how all this is ment to work. Everyone seems to know everyone else, its a little intimidating, and not helped by the fact I look like a druggy hobo, with bags under my eyes so dark I look I've been punched and my less than attractive dress sense with a baggy T-Shirt and creased jeans. My hairs also a bit of a mess but I'm to knackered to fix it. Ive tried starting conversations but I must be really boring. I will prevail!!! Tomorrow after a good nights sleep this won't be as daunting I'm sure. Worst case senario, I stick it out for 4 morse days. If I'm still not happy. Ill just go somewhere new. Breath Ellie, breath.
