In Coffs Hrbour we treated ourselves to a holiday cabin, which the kids were SOOOOO excited about! Nice and warm, and no tent for a night!
The next day we only had a short drive down to South West Rocks, where Mum and Dad were staying for a few nights. It was a lovely sleepy little town and we spent two days fishing and enjoying more sunshine (although very cold nights). Fin caught two good sized bream, but the fish continued to elude the rest of us. Still, fishing on the beach and relaxing to the sound of the waves again more that made up for no nibbles on the end of our lines!
Today we have had a long(ish) drive, and made it to Penrith. We purposely avoided Sydney central, although the kids were still amazed by the size of the suburbs.
Through the Blue Mountains tomorrow, heading for Bathurst where Grant plans to do a "hot Lap" in the Prado. Pretty well straight home after that, so depending on whether the kids get their way of doing a night drive or not, we will be home sometime on the weekend.
Thanks for keeping up with our travels...we hope you've enjoyed reading about our adventures...shame we had some problems uploading photos from time to time. Fear not though...I think I've snapped about 1000 photos, and about 14 hours of video, so who's up for a movie night at our place????
Looking forward to catching up with the news of home with you all soon. xxx Grant, Jeannine, Finlay, Ryley and Griffyn
