I am pooped, but am not sure when I will next get the chance to blog. Today we left the hotel at 8:15 and picked up a local guide. We started out at the Colosseum then went to the Trevi Fountain (my favorite thing in Rome). Then on the the Spanish Steps. We had time for lunch, where many of us went to the Hard Rock Cafe. After free time, we went to the Pantheon! That was this morning. We then went to the beach, where the local team hosted us in the sand. The Blue team lost in two, then the Black team, also, lost in two. We had a tough time adjusting to beach ball. Afterwards, the girls took a dip in the sea. The local team hosted us at a restraunt adjacent to the beach. After all four courses (Salad, pasta, hamburger patti with fries, then dessert), the Italians and Americans took a stroll on the beautiful beach (by this time it was about 10:30!). I saw an italian girl teared up when we were leaving. I absolutely love seeing the girls kiss each others cheeks in parting (in the italian way). Tomorrow, we leave for a relaxed day in Sorrento. We have no plans, so we will leave late (9:30 am).
