Day three
We woke up at ten o’clock with an other new room mate from Australia. We got packed and left the youth hostel at eleven. We only had two hours so we only managed to get breakfast and then had no time to look around Oslo. So we caught our train. The journey was quite boring with just fields and farms. When we got to Oxenen, in Sweden, to change trains we noticed we could wait for two hours and for our train, or wait half an hour for a bus. So we caught the bus and it was only a ten minute journey. We got dropped off in the centre of Vannersborg and had a quick walk around to find the train station and get an idea of the area. We then found the way to the campsite and started walking towards it. We had walked for about five miles with all our gear on until we got to a map saying it was about another two miles. So we gave up and camped beside the lake. Vannersborg is situated at the entrance to one of the biggest lakes in Europe called vaners. Once we had set up camp we walked back to the edge of town, which was about two miles. Where we got food for the evening and for Breakfast. The super market was very modern with digital displays with the prices on every shelf. The check out was also strange and there was a small machine that you scanned everything with as you walked around. Back at camp we went for a quick swim in the lake, which was very cold but fun.
