Got up early today for 8:30 yoga. So glad I did. It was worth it! This place really is paradise. So secluded and self sufficient I really never felt the urge to leave the resort for any reason.
Another amazing breakfast of fresh fruit & equally amazing strong mexican coffee...just the way I like it! Coffee is one of my favorite things, I can't beleive I even thought I could give it up!
Next Pool Yoga....I had never heard of it either... It was ok, but I think it's better suited for folks who can't do yoga outside of the pool. I felt like I was in Sr. Citizens exercize class. Didn't opt to do this again.
Today is my snorkelling excursion. I went by to confirm my trip, it was coming up in a couple hours. The nice guy was there again, the boat had people booked besides me so I was good to go. I found the guy that was going to be our guide and slipped him a $20. I told him to treat me like he would his sister out there and stick VERY close and make damn sure I'm back on the boat before coming back in! He smiled and he did just that. He stuck to me like glue... Not complaining...that's what I asked him to do. I got first hand view of all the cool stuff he took us to. Saw the biggest Grouper I've ever seen in my life. Tons of colorful fish on the reef. Only got freaked once...the guide stopped me, got in front of me and threw his mask out in the water in front of him. I went under to see what he had seen and it was a whole school of baracuda! Very scary looking but the mask scared them more than they scared us and they were gone in an instant. This was not my first snorkelling rodeo, but this reef is pretty far off shore and past the breaks so it would be a very difficult if not impossible swim back in if you needed to. It was nice to have an escort!!!
Sunset Yoga was awesome! Right on the beach. Beautiful & Peaceful!
Dinner was uneventful but VERY good! Nice & Quiet. Had a Filet in the beachfront dining room tonight. Did some more reading and discovered another hmmm...moment... the story line in this book is in no way associated with the other book I mentioned by the same author, but another Jester entered the story. El Solitaire was his name. Now I have decided this whole book thing is no coincidence, too many parallel things happening in the book and in my trip and when I get the tattoo it will be entitled "El Solitaire". Kinda fits me....41, single, live alone, no children, enjoy traveling alone, almost always the prankster & almost always have a smile on my face!
Nothing much funny happened today until I got back to the room. I had a couple glasses of wine, ok a few glasses of wine with dinner and was ready to go straight to bed. I climbed in, turned on the TV and low and behold there was Mr.T. In his full on mowhawk and too much gold jewelry glory... on Mexican television....selling an indoor grill like the George Foreman grill....The best part was it was all voice dubbed over in Spanish! That may not sound funny to you, but that was some funny funny shit to me at the time!
