Today was a long, but rewarding, day. We started the day at 7:15. At our first school we had to perform a condensed version of our skit at because some of the kids did a skit of their own for us that they wrote based on the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Once we left the first school, most of the day was blur. We hit three more schools before lunch, and all of them were very enthusiastic about all our songs and dramas. At the last school we were treated to snacks, tea, and coffee by the staff. After a short lunch, we went to Just Kids Home for the afternoon. It was nice to be able to interact with a smaller group of kids for a longer period of time. Painting faces, blowing bubbles, and singing songs seems so simple to us, but the kids soak up every minute of it. It doesn't feel like an entire week has gone by here. This weekend we are heading out to safari and come Monday, we will only have a few more places left. Continue to pray for us as we squeeze the last few performances out of our spirits.
