Today we got up and checked out of the hotel. (The bellman at the Hyatt on Wacker stink by the way!)

We grabbed a taxi and headed for the AMERICAN GIRL PLACE for brunch. The store and restaruant are located at 111 E. Chicago Ave.

The store is a phenomenon. The brunch was cute. You are given a little box of questions to start the conversation at your table. Breana did not yet have an American Girl Doll so they allowed her to borrow one! They sit at the table with you and eat away!

The meal is light and the highlight is a mousse in a flower pot with a daisy. Very cute - girls LOVE this place!

We did the store thing most of the morning. It was cute - a doll salon for dolls, a hospital and tons of dolls and doll things! Breana got her Kristen doll and was thrilled to carry it around like all the other little girls.

We then walked over to the John Hancock building and went up to the top floor. The view was great. The lake is all icy and white and it was interesting to see from the top.

It was then time to head back over to American Girl and see the show. It was called CIRCLE of FRIENDS. It was VERY schmalzy - but the kids loved it. It was all young girls and lots of songs and dancing.

After the show it was time to head home! We grabbed our bags from the hotel and headed back to Midway. The SWA flight was full and crowded. It seemed to take a long time to get home. Crew was a little grumpy too. Breana slept most of the way with her new doll and Patrick read and watched from the window - both good fliers!
