2009-06-18, Beijing, China

We started off this week by splitting into 2's and going to the four corners of Beijing, North, South, East and West. We then prayed as we went on the buses and subways and walked along to the four corners, just claiming China for God. We just prayed over China and the people we saw or may have talked to. Asked God if there is anything he is wanting to say and being still to hear his voice. We all Defiantly sense from God that there is a revival happening in China and is going to experience a HUGE revival. It was a great time of intercession for all of us.

We all got to go to the great wall while Will was here, It was and awesome time. It was alot harder than we all anticipated defiantly but so worth it, It was a beautiful view! And we ALL made it to the top. We had signed up with a tour thing so we thought we where just going to the Great Wall, but they took us to so many places and store. We defiantly didn't expect it. We got to go to a jade shop and see how they have caved these really cool jade balls that have two inside itself and really cool designs. Also went to some tombs and a tea place where we got to try some tea and looked at the store. Went to a silk store and a place where we saw them making vases and other cool stuff. So it was a pretty packed day and it was a great way to spend our last day with Will.

So we finally had to say good bye to Will as he went on to see the next team. It was alot of fun having him around and doing outreach with us. We got to enjoy a last dinner with him that he had created, Mmm yum, nothing beats some good pasta.

We got to have a day of totally just spending time with God and working on our sermons. We all kinda scattered and found some alone tie with God.

One major thing we are all learning is to BE STILL. We have alot of time to be spending with God and lifting up China and the missionaries here by our prayers. It's an adjustment from Taiwan because it seemed like we where always busy and we were always doing something in ministry. But we see how God is calling us into a time of just being in him. It is so important to spend time with him and come to him for everything in prayer.

We meet this basketball ministry that they have a team of basketball guys come and reach out to others by just playing ball and building relationships with the people they play with. Our guys got to join them and play a little bit at a public court. It was really cool to meet these guys and both of our teams join in with each other. We had the opportunity then to go to their game a few days later and support them. They played well and we had a great time seeing them again before they left to go back home. As we said our good byes we got to prayed over them. It was really cool and they really seemed to appreciate us coming.

We started praying in the morning for intersession for each of our fellow teams and studants on outreach. We took turns praying and focusing on hearing from God for a team each day. It was really great praying for the other teams and having that mindset of lifting them up in our prayers.

We went to an "English corner" where you go to practice english, but that was more just a cover for this house church. We went there and this teacher invites his students who seem interested in learning about God. We did an intro of who we where than had some worship. It is just so awesome to see how this guy is so bold in his faith in God and has such a desire for people to come to know him. We than split in groups and talked with everyone. Some of us got to share more of God with non-believers and others got to just really encourage the believers and answer any of there questions. It was a really great night and it went really well.

Us girls went to the Forbidden City and prayed over it one day. It was really good time just claiming it for God.

A few of us got to go to another English corner and meet people and just talk with them.

In China we have alot of time of being open with one another at meeting and just bringing stuff to the table like where we are all at. It has been good and much needed.

That ends Week 2...On to Week 3! DANGALANG!
