We were at largest central European lake called Balaton.
The Balaton is the warmest lake in central, and eastern europe.
Our place at Zamardi (Somogy county), south side of Balaton. I think the south side is better than north, because the beaches are larger, the water is most warm, and more city, and cheaper.
We knowing the south side, because we were in Balatonszemes, Balatonfured, Balatonboglár, Balatonlelle, Boglarlelle, Szantod, Balatonszeplak, and now in Zamardi.
Zamardi, and Szeplak is not too far from the 'Silver Beach'. The 'Golden Beach' is at Siofok. Zamardi is a small town. (Town from 1st of July 2009) Perfect for family vacation. Every beach is free !!!! The town is very clean, the beaches are too, a lot of playground, toilets, parking places. But only some shop, whose are exspensive!!! We ate at Patko Bufe. They cheap, and had a good menus.
We went to Szantod and Tihany.
Zamardi is perfect place for a family vacation!!!
