Ok, this entry is gonna be short, but I promise I'll have more by tomorrow morning, as soon as I wake up (which will be your tonight). I have a whole bunch of pictures, but I need to go through and figure out which ones to put up, and I just don't feel like doing that right now. I finally just got back to the Jensen's house after the second longest day of traveling ever. Obviously not too many things in life can top my Wong experience with Jeff and Rem in China (and if you don't know, ask. Any one of us would be way more than happy to tell you about that day). But, if there is a day that comes close, it would be today. I am freakin massive, and the "buses" (in quotes because they're not more than a minivan) are quite the opposite. So, it's me, and then 11 Nepali people traveling from Butwal to Kathmandu. This is roughly the distance from Newport Beach to Bakersfield, which usually takes me about 2 1/2 hours to get from my apartment in Newport to my parent's home in Bako. Well, I woke up at 6, then off to a dedication ceremony for a transit home, then straight to the bus station about 11. At 1115 I hit the road, leaving the hottest city known to man. Finally, at 639pm I got to Kathmandu. That was only half the battle though, because it took another hour to get to someone elses house, not the Jensen's. Have I mentioned that I have never seen worse traffic anywhere in the world than in Kathmandu? Well, maybe Romania, but its a different kind of traffic. Here it's all 2 lane clutter. Whatevs, thats besides the point. All of this to say that I drank a good 4 Liters of water on the "bus" because I kept sweating. Thats right, even at 50mph, windows down, I'm sweating. Oh, my right arm is sunburned. Only my right arm though. So, now I'm back, I'm showered, I had American hamburgers for dinner (yes, there is a difference between Nepali and American burgers), and now I am off to play hours of video games with Court, my new 13 year old friend, assuming the power doesn't go out. I'm sure it will, because I'm in Nepal. Anyways, It's beautiful here. Can't wait to show you pictures. TOMORROW I BUY KNIVES!!!!!!! And Brandon, Jo has reminded me every day that you want a rupee. I'll bring you one, but I'm charging you full price. So you'll owe me about 2.3 cents.

Peace

-Adam Hearron
