Hey Everyone,

We went house hunting yesterday, luckily Joe got to come. I was SO excited to go, I'd looked at pictures for a few hours on Tuesday (your Monday remember) and they all looked at the very least, decent. I knew that the pictures usually look better than they really are but... I had good hopes.

The first one we went to was O.K. The neighbor had a big dog, cute too,so I would know if someone was coming up to the house. We went inside and thought it was so so, it was a nice size but just didn't feel right.

#2 this one was by appointment,I liked the pictures and we met the other realtor who told us (Joe, myself, and our realtor) that the previous tenants just left and it would be cleaned before we moved in... I thought ok... could it be that bad? UMMM yes it could! Duh Rachel! There were ROACHES every where!!! are you kidding me! I'm not trying to sound like little miss priss right now, but I'm a country girl I see mice not ROACHES... gross and he thought with the obvious infestation that we would possibly move in? HELLO? this girl nope... I'll pitch a tent first.

#3 This one was still in the same complex but in the pictures it had and AMAZING kitchen, every one knows I love to cook! It truly was a great kitchen in a townhouse style Apartment. It was also 1872 sq ft! Joe loved it, me not so much. Yes, the kitchen was nice but there was NO grass... I mean none, I had to walk down the road to the 5 by 10 ft pool for some grass. Also the country girl coming out in me, I need some grass its great weather here everyday where would we put our LAWN chairs? Also the washer and dryer were out side! WEIRD!!!

So on we went. We checked out quite a few places with no luck other than #3 which Joe loved and a house in a place called Paradise Estates, where a lot of military lives. The house is brand new, the kitchen was great, there was a yard (granted it was 4 ft high in weeds, but a good project for me to occupy my time until school) and 5 minutes to base.

After everything we called our realtor and asked her to make an offer for the house because we can pay $100 less a month than they asked for, so we should know here soon. Cross your fingers everyone!
