Well as I said, here I am in Hua Hin.
This is such a great place to stay, I really feel very comfortable here.
Hua Hin is quite a big town actually, lots of different area's which become "peoples" little best spots.

My best spot is down towards the sea front around the Hilton and surrounding streets.
It is to be honest the red lightish area, but that doesn't mean it's not a nice area to be in.
The bars a great for a quiet drink in the afternoon, and a noisier drink in the evening.
The bar girls are a lot of fun to play pool with and very social too.

Food is everywhere in Hua Hin especially sea food, which brings to mind my favourite restaurant down by the ocean.
The jetties stretch out over the water and the very last one is a great place to eat.

There is about five different beaches around Hua Hin all offering a different reason to be there.
The best spot for me is outside the Hilton where there are umbrellas and you can sit, relax have some nice food or even a massage.
You get the usual local vendors coming up to you trying to sell one thing or the other, and you can even go for a horse ride along the beach.

There are plenty of things to see and do in Hua Hin, I normally pay a visit the the giant Buddha which is only about 15 mins out of town, it is an amazing sight and well worth going there.
I also pay a visit to the fishing lodge, also just out of town, if your into fishing this is the place to visit, there is accommodation there too.

I will be staying a few extra days, so my next accommodation is on one of the jetties, it's actually the first one after the Hilton.
The jetty is full of wooden cabins and I am normally lucky enough to get one right on the end, right over the ocean where I can hear the waves during the night.Little tables outside are great to sit, chatting to other travelers while having my morning coffee.
I also hire a motorbike from this place too, the cabins are about 400 baht per night and the bike 200 baht per day.

The king of Thailand has a residence here in Hua Hin and parts of it are open to visitors.

Another great trip I like to do whilst in Hua Hin is go out for the day on the Mai Thai one day cruise. It's a fabulous boat and a great trip.

Only one more night here then heading south to Dolphin Bay.
