Ok, so I finally landed in Kathmandu. It's hot here. Most of you know I hate flying, but all my bad flights in the world were worth it to actually see Mt. Everest with my own eyes. Seriously! I saw it! I have pictures of it, but it's too hard to see on here, so I'll just have to show you all later. I made a couple friends on the flight from Bangkok to Kathmandu. They were farmers, or something like that. I couldn't understand their names, but I'm sure he couldn't understand mine either. Anyways, my friends proceeded to tell me that they just spent a week in Israel, followed by a week in Thailand taking training courses in agriculture. What's wierd is I noticed that when you're langing in Bangkok, the view from the air looks a whole lot like the way the valley looks when you're driving west on the 58, heading to Bako from T-hach. You know, the way that you can see all the fields when you're dropping off the pass...
Literally as I'm sitting here typing this out, clark and jennifer walk into my room and ask me if I have a camera. I of course say yes, then I find out that probably Wednesday, I'll be taking a bus ride somewhere out of the city with one of their contacts, and I'll be staying on the India/Nepal border. I think I'll be around some gnarly stuff, but I'm excited for it. I'm also excited for my Gurkha knife.
I'm not excited for the way my stomach feels already. Stupid curry......
Peace
