Hello everyone,
This last week here in Taiwan has been freakin amazing. We have all really got to know the people here and enjoyed our stay.
Outreach this last week consisted of-
Going to an elderly home, giving them massages and then doing our skits, testimony and songs. It was really cool just spending time with them and showing them love. They really seemed to appreciate it alot.
Also went to the Jr. high school again for a full day, That went really well especially because we knew what to expect and alot of kids remembered us. Everyone did an awesome job stepping up and really did great with the testimony, skits and songs. The kids loved having us there and the teachers as well. This one was definitely a favorite for alot of us.
We also got to go to a kindergarten/preschool. We got to do a little parade with them around the town with this big wagon thay decorated like a dragon. We did a bunch of skits and songs with them, They really loved it. They especially loved when Skye and Dan brought out some prizes like bubbles and necklaces. They where all so adorable! We got to know some of the teachers there at lunch and invited them to the Rock. This one was definitely one of my favorites.
We Had the opportunity to clean out an apartment called the mercy house for a guy named Jack. We carried out a ton furniture and all the trash and totally cleaned everything up. It looked alot better by the time we where done. He thought it would have taken two days to clean it out, but it only took us a few hours.
On Sunday we lead a church service which went really well. That day was awesome because we got to witness a man from that church baptized. Everyone there was so supportive of him, almost everyone was tearing up. It really moved us alot. We got to eat lunch with the church then and talk with alot of them.
Monday was our free day, we all got to so to the city Taipei with Mayi. We tried stinky tofu, chicken feet and chicken butt.
Tuesday most of us went to the beach. Then we all ate with our translator Ling and also Mayi, Rebekkah and Jack. It was great eating dinner with them and chillin one last time.
We have met some awesome people here, especially these past few days we really have gotten closer to everyone. It's going to be hard to leave, we have all fallin in love with with Taiwan and everyone here. It's been the bombdiggity. We feel like we not only got to bless everyone here but also we feel abundantly blessed as well.
Tomarrow we leave for China, as much as we will miss Taiwan we are ready to go to China and make a BIG impact. DANGALANG, here we go!
