Day 12

3,50 for a breakfast buffet and 3 hours later I'm still full.

Cereal, bread meat cheese, multivitamin juice (yum) and half of a seeded roll definitely filled me up and had me ready to go (well, I wanted to go back to bed after a full mean but that wasn't really an option) Checked out around 930 and headed to the train station. The 1018 train to Stuttgart magically disappeared at around 1014 so we waited around for 1118 train.

I went outside to take a quick few pictures of the Dom outside the station and grabbed a caramel macchiato at the coffee to go next door.

We're on the train now headed to see Anne in Stuttgart. I haven't seen her in 3 years! I love her to death she was a German exchange student to Friendswood my Junior year and we've truied to keep in touch through email ever since. I'm glad we've finally had the chance to see her again and she's letting us stay in her apartment in Stuttgart for 2 nights then she can show us the city and her and her girlfriends can't wait for speak English with us, the cuties. I wish Eric were here too, she always loved Eric very dearly.

The train right through Bonn, Koblenz, Mainz, is so gorgeous and green. We're riding along the Rhine river now and the whole landscape is a lush green with most of the cities up along the sides of hills and cliffs. I will definitely need to take a trip hiking along this area it's just so alive with flowers and trees.

Heading to see Anne, so I may or may not have time to update. Probably our 10 hour ride to Venice I'll have a little time to update on how fantastic Anne is.

Until Day 13! A bientot!
