It's really hot and dry, very little rain at this time of year, I sure hope that changes soon. I took a few pictures on the Savannah this morning so some of my friends that have been here can see that the Performing Arts Centre is finally getting a roof! It's very dry, the Savannah grass is mostly dormant, waiting for the wonderful rains to come. Yet, trees are blooming like crazy all over the place.
The Carleton Savannah hotel is open for business and I don't miss a single bit of all that construction.
When I got back, the air conditioner in my bedroom was not working well and we finally got it fixed after only 4 days of waiting. I seem to be using it a bit more than I ever did since last September. Can't tell if it was my 2 months away or the 90+ (32C) every day. It's not cooling down much at night, until today! It has been 28 (82) at night, but I woke up to a blessed 24 (75) this morning! Maybe relief is on it's way. I did see a tropical storm on the weather last night, way up north.
