People are leaving and I am sad

Yesterday my dear friend Scott, my brother within the absurd Hardy family, left us for his Canadian homeland. It was a sad day. We tried to have a sort of picnic (aka, eat Easter candy that just reached Scott yesterday on the lawns in front of Keele Hall) but it rained. Also, Heather, Kristin, Vincent and I are feverishly studying for exams, so we could only take a short break to wish him farewell.

Tonight Kristin and Heather will go, and this will be even more terrifically saddening. Only Vincent, Ally, Lydia and I will remain of our group.

On a lighter, less mind-numbingly sad note, I GOT ANOTHER ESSAY BACK! I only say this is a good thing because I got a SEVENTY BLOODY TWO ON IT! That's right. I got a 72, and my professor said it was the best essay in the class. That's more like it. No more, 'very nearly excellent' crap for me, this one is just plain excellent. I also got a 75 for the seminar grade, so I would have to have totally screwed up my exam to get less than a first in this class. And I'm pretty sure I didn't, because I feel the best about that exam. So grade-wise things are looking up.

But speaking of exams, I have one tomorrow morning and I should probably go back to studying so I can continue my reign of awesome. Farewell!
