Stop over in samoa for about a week on my way to new zealand for uni. I stayed at a place called Lynns Getaway which a friend reccommended, it was really nice. A 12bedroom house turned into a bed breakfast hotel which worked very well. They provided breakfast and tours around the island which came with the price. I was paying $40nz which is around 20-30US dollars but i had got a discount since i knew the family which ran the place, and there always giving discounts apparently. Very nice place to stay if you ever plan on going there. Its located near the town which is 30-45mins away from most beaches so you could use that place as a place to come back to if u ever plan on staying at a beach over night. that way you can leave your precious items at the hotel and stay at a beach side with only the things you want to take with you. Its always nice to come back from a 3day trip at the beach back to the hotel for a good meal and hot shower, problem with staying at the beach is that you get all sandy and sticky sometimes. Lots of great places to eat in town too!
