Sorry everyone that i havent written anything for a couple of weeks - I have been just too busy! But now I am here in Sydney for a couple of days I have time to catch up with what I have been doing.
After 4 days in Queenstown we drove on to Milford Sound, which is actually not a sound but a fjord. It is a huge steep-sided valley, now flooded with sea water. the rock faces rise up to 1200 metres (3900 feet) above the freezing cold water. Rudyard Kipling called it the eighth wonder of the World so we decided we just had to see it!
We sailed around for 2 days, stopping overnight in a bay where we kayaked and i then swam which was a mistake as it was flipping freezing! On the second day we sailed out of the fjord into the open sea a bit, and then back to Milford to end. Check out the pictures!
