Just a quickie as my poor old body clock is still a bit all-over-the-place and, at quarter to two in the morning here in Britain (what used to be quarter to eight in the evening), I am sort of feeling tired (well, not really - but I had better go to bed if I ever want to get back to normal. Oof - as you can probably gather I'm feeling a bit confused and jet-lagged!
Anyway, a couple of you lovely readers sent me messages asking me to let you know I got back safely - bless you! Well, I did, and here I am at my parents' house in Gosport. I got greeted by lovely grizzy grey skies at Gatwick yesterday (oh, England - how true to form you are!), but being with my folks again, having a nice cup of tea (ah!), and kipping in the comfiest bed I know (the one in our spare room looking out onto the sea) made me feel all sunshiney in spite of this.
There's not much more for me to say at the moment. Everything seems exactly the same here (well, except that my Mum and Dad changed the wallpaper in the hallway!), and this is very strange as it makes the last 7 months feel almost like a dream. Dreams and reality will soon hopefully merge, though, and I'm actually feeling pretty positive about the future.
Anyway, good night/good morning or whatever it is wherever you may be - I'm back where I (sort of) belong!
