Yesterday I went to Birmingham. It was only for 2 hours but the first impression was very good. Unfortunately we picked the wrong day because it was raining, and today the sun is shining! But that's okay, I've got plenty of opportunity to go again.
Birmingham is a great city for shopping, a lot of stores all packed together in New Street and several shopping malls. There are some beautiful buildings, like the Council House and the Art Gallery. Hope to see more of it next weekend.
Yesterday evening was also nice. Sue invited a lot of people for a Valentine's dinner. The food was really great and there were some nice people. But after dinner I decided to go back to my room as they were all getting kind of tipsy :-)
