Today was our last day on the North Island of NZ. The time has gone by so fast! We spent it in Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, which is right at the bottom of North Island.
We all walked around the city a bit and I check out The WestPac Stadium which is where lots of sport happens like the Super 14 Hurricanes, some Black Caps International Cricket, the Wellington Sevens, and Soccer and Rugby League too.
We also went to New Zealand's biggest museum, Te Papa, which had some good displays on. The best was the only completely intact colossal squid in the world. Its eyes are the size of footballs and it is 8 metres long, weighing 500 kilograms!
In the evening we went to a Thai restaurant as Phil had been in Thailand for a couple of months before here and was missing the spicy food!
