Arrival into Eiserfeld, Siegen
Hello from Siegen, Germany!
I safely arrived here at the Bible college yesterday right around lunch time. Inis picked me up from the airport and we drove on the Audobon for a couple hours in order to get to the village of Eiserfeld in Siegen. The Germans are good drivers mostly. They can go pretty fast on the Audobon, but they're still safe drivers for the most part. Thankfully I got to sleep off and on on the plane ride over, but when I got here I still had jetlag, so I skipped dinner to sleep. haha.
Everyone's pretty nice here. It's funny how when you visit a place with calvary people, everyone has like the same mindset, and you can get along with them very easily. The girls I'm rooming with are really sweet: Annie(American) and Katya(Germany). The Bible college also has a cafe, like almost all the other Calvary Chapel Bible colleges I know, and it's pretty cool. We have all their meals down there.
The village I'm in is called Eiserfeld, which is on the outskirts of Siegen. It's cute, and I love how you can walk everywhere. Soon I hope to walk more through the town to get to see more of it. I went to the grocery store and the bank today and that was cool.... it's such a cute little village.
Well, I have to go get dinner.... it's 6:10 PM here. Hopefully I'll write more soon.
with love,
Becky
