2009-03-25, Byron Bay, Australia

We regretably left Surfers Paradise this morning and headed to Byron Bay. Because we drove from Queenstown to New South Wales border we the clocks went forward 1 hour so we are now 11 hours ahead of you peeps in the UK. After the hour drive we settled in a campsite and had a look around town. Its not a nice as Surfers Paradise but it is quirky with no main food shops like mcdonalds or kfc, all the shops are locally run which makes a nice change with no high rises. We then headed to the beach and had a good swim in the really strong waves and headed back to the campervan. We then had some dinner and headed into town for a couple of drinks in a bar called Cheeky Monkeys.
