Germany, France and Italy are next!

So since I've been back from Russia for about a month, I figured it'd be a good time for me to tell you all what my next trip will be. As most of you know, I was planning on going to Brazil for 8 weeks for the Intensive Missions Training Program, but, unfortunately, the whole thing didn't work out. I didn't have peace about going, and it seemed like the Lord was closing that door. However, the Lord opened up another opportunity for me right away.... What I will be doing next is going on a trip to Europe.

First, I'll be visiting the Calvary Chapel Bible College in SIEGEN, GERMANY for 2 weeks. David Guzik, the director, has invited me to stay at the college, so I can see what it's like over there, sit in on the classes, meet the students, and learn from the amazing teachers!! I'll also be spending Easter in Germany, most likely traveling around with some of the other students. I'm soo excited about this part of the trip!!!

Next, I'll be flying out of Frankfurt, Germany down to MARSEILLES, FRANCE!!!!! My mom's good college friend and her family have been missionaries in Marseilles(southern France) for many years. I will be staying with them for one week, being able to help them out in their ministries and go sightseeing in the area!! I'll also get to see all their kids, who will be home for Easter break, and celebrate the holidays with them all. I am so excited to finally try out my French on the local French people, and I can't wait to experience the local French culture, French food, and French sights!!! :)

Lastly, but DEFINITELY not least, is ITALY!!! After a week in France, I will be flying from Marseilles, France down to Venice, Italy!! My family is good friends with a military family who is living right near Venice-- in a small town of Aviano, Italy(northern Italy). The father works at a military base in the area. I'll be meeting up with my BROTHER at the airport in Venice, and we will be spending 10 days with the family, sightseeing Italy and having a wonderful time!! The family is so excited for my brother and I to come visit and they are planning tons of outings for us during our stay there!! Some places we are planning to visit with them are the Alps!(45 minutes away from where they live), Rome-- for the first weekend we're there, Pisa(!!!), Venice, Milan, and maybe even the Czech Republic and Poland during the second weekend that we're there!!!!!! I am so stoked for this part of my trip!! Especially since my brother will be there with me to enjoy it!! :)

The Italian part of my trip won't be missions-oriented like the other two will be. However, I know that I should always be prepared to share my hope in Christ with anybody the Lord is calling me to share it with, so please pray that I will keep my ears and eyes open to the Holy Spirit's prompting, and that the Lord sets up some divine appointments!!!

Here's what my schedule will look like...
March 31st--- fly to Frankfurt, Germany
April 1st--- arrive in Frankfurt, Germany
April 1st- April 16th --- stay at Siegen Bible college for 15 days
April 16th--- fly from Frankfurt, Germany to Marseilles, France
April 16th- April 23rd --- stay with missionaries in Marseilles, France for a week
April 23rd- fly from Marseilles, France to Venice, Italy
April 23rd- May 5th --- stay with military family in Aviano, Italy, and travel all around Italy!!
May 5th- fly home from Venice, Italy to Philadephia

I hope you enjoyed reading about my future escapades, and I will do my best to keep you updated on how all these trips go!! If you could pray that I would have opportunities to share my faith, and boldness if those opportunities arise, I would be most grateful! You can also pray for safe travels, but most of all, please pray that I would be a blessing to the students and families I am going to stay with, and a light of God's hope to everyone that I meet.

Thanks so much, and God bless you all!!
with love in Christ,
Becky
