|  | | Cairns to Townsville Detour | | | | | Today we headed to Melanda to see a waterfall dropping into a swimming pool. Halfway there was pretty scary because we had hardly any fuel, money and no signal on our mobiles. Luckily we eventually found a petrol station and vowed never to let the tank go past halfway again!!! When we got there it was to our dissapointment that the waterfall was pretty small and the water was filthy!!! Not fun after doing a 120km detour to see it!!! We then headed to Mission beach and broke open some coconuts on the beach and then headed to Townsville where we cooked burgers on the barbie and shared a bottle of wine!!!
