Lovely little Pisa

Just more of my catching up with a few pics from Pisa during our Italian trip a couple of years ago. Pisa is a wonderful little town and I would always recommend taking the Blu Bus to Pisa rather than the train. The train station is downtown, away from the Cathedral and it's famous tower and you really don't get to see the city from afar as your travelling in. The Blu Bus from Lucca, what a view. as you wind down the mountain and come through a tunnel, there on the plain below you is all of Pisa and a really cool view of the Tower. Make sure to visit the very tiny church on the Arno when you're walking from the Leaning Tower towards downtown to see sites. Chiesa della Spina, it is said that the relic of the church is a thorn from the crown of thorns placed on Our Saviours Head.
