Dumbara Range - First day
One of my friend working in the Cardiology unit of the National Hospital Colombo, organized a journey to feel the difference in dumbara / Knacles range. Two vehicles were arranged because the proposed route was much difficult.
It was 10.30am when we left Gampaha. The circuit bungalow belongs to the forest department at Deanstant was reserved for us as our destination of the first day.
We went through Peradeniya -> Katugasthota -> polgolla -> Waththegama -> Theldeniya and Hunnasgiriya because there was a huge traffic at Kandy city.
Since it was dry season, water level of the Victoria tank was low & the Iron Bridge of old Theldeniya could be seen.
Having some grocery items, we turned to Lulwatta road from Hunnasgiriya. It was just 6.00 pm when we reached our destination for the day.
