We arrive in Brisbane 3rd March and find ‘digs’ right in the centre. With only one full day, we decide to spend most of it on the river travelling on the City Cat system to see the sights. However, Brisbane leaves us a little cold, nice enough city but perhaps they’re just becoming ‘another city’ as we experience ever increasing city life?
It’s a nice enough place and offers all the usual things you’d expect from one of a country’s major city. We’re not impressed and pleased to move on the next day to the aforementioned Byron Bay/Coffs Harbour/Port Macquarie.
