Well you couldn't get a much bigger change in scenery than travelling from Delhi to Singapore. We were basically ready to lay out our sleeping bags in the airport and enjoy the quiet, cleanliness and indoor plants!
But we didn't; instead we checked into a ludicrously overpriced hotel (arriving late on a Friday and not wanting to sleep on the streets we had to take what we could book online). Anyway we found Singapore to be too expensive but great for a few days. Touristy stuff mostly, no shopping (waiting for Bangkok instead).
As evidenced by the photo, we bought some M&S crisps and then ate them in Starbucks with a giant frappucino™. Yep.
Singapore Zoo was excellent. The Night Safari is next to the zoo and is pretty much a night zoo where you can't see the enclosures. We had a really nice evening there.
Well that was Singapore. We decided to leave after a few days because everything cost too much - even our dorm room beds. We booked ourselves a big bus to Malaysia. The next day we got on a big bus to Malaysia.
