New Plans.....

Okay I'm updating this earlier than I previously thought, the crazy life of a traveller hey.....So the last four days I've spent searching high and low for a job in Sydney. The only jobs I've been offered are fund raising on the streets for charities or convincing businesses to swap their telephone line. This particular job entailed walking around Sydney randomly picking a businesses and then with all your whit, charm and irresistible smile get them to swap telephone providers to someone they've never even heard of. Hummm no thanks! Jill (girl from uni I've bin travelling with) lost her job in a clothes shop yesterday which shows just how tight everything is and so I have a new plan!

Today @ 5:40pm I fly to Singapore and then tomorrow I fly to Borneo! (For all you plane geeks I'm on a new Quantas airbus thingy which has two floors, quite exciting apparently)Woop woop so I have no money but have decided 12days in Borneo can't cost that much and as I really wanted to go there I thought better than waste time and money searching for a job in Sydney which is likely to get me no-where why not go do something exciting before coming home. So unless by some miracle I get a job on a dive boat, or decide to join a jungle tribe and hang out with the Orang-Utan's (Borneo is home to the last tribe in the world to still be-head people, Bruce Parry eat your heart out, don't worry they've stopped that now) I will be back in the UK Saturday 14th March!!! Arrgghhh can't believe it, and I'm bloody flying Friday 13th! But hey it's been an amazing six months and will be nice to end on a high.

So I have two weeks to decide what to do when I get back to the UK, I'm thinking returning to Leeds sounds like a good idea. I'll spend the next couple of weeks pondering over it while trying to get as brown as possible before coming back. still I'm holding out for the dive boat job....in my dreams I think.

Hopefully I'll have a few more pics and stories before I get back. See you all soon, hope England is warming up for my return!
