| | | Southern Town, relaxing and chill | | | | | We got into Krabi in the early afternoon after a short minibus ride from Phuket. The bus dropped us off a hefty 6 km away from town leaving us to figure out or plans from there. Luckily, we got a lot of help from a tourist office. The guesthouse we chose came and picked us up which was an added bonus. Saving almost 2 bucks per person for a bus ride was really nice.
When we got the hotel we came across a nice smaller town that still had the laid back feeling that we needed. We spent two nights in Krabi one of which we went out and checked out the night life. We ended up at Crazy Pub, and it sure was crazy! Daniel met a Thai girl and I met some Korean friends. We spent the late evening drinking and dancing. It was very eventful. (ask me about it later)
The next day we got up early and headed over to Rai Ley beach which had some of the most spectacular rock formations that I have ever seen. The beach was beautiful and there were tons of little coves and caves that we were able to explore. Though since it was extremely touristy the prices were inflated at least 200% so we had to rough it and eat crackers and drink water. It was still a nice day.
BY the time night rolled around we were completely exhausted and lacking energy so we called it a short night and got a good nights rest so we could catch our bus to Hat Ya
