It's one of those business trip again - and I'm knocking myself out by those free reading in Borders. When I got out from the MRT session, I was pleasantly surprised to see colorful scene in Orchard Road. O yeah, almost Christmas. Well obviously I don't celebrate them but it's nice to see such colorful displays.
This year theme is "Sweet Tropical Christmas" and they stick very consistent with that theme. All the trees and lights with candy shaped, crazy colors - treats for the eyes! Other than the traditional tree, they also have rotating giant donut and candy mushroom house.
Good thing is that I'm not the only one who's crazily circiling the trees for that perfect angle. Some people tries to take picture with their cellphone camera, I was of course prepared with my pocket camera. But at the end of the road, there's other people with those pro DSLR cameras and giant tripod. O well.
The next night I went to Clarke Quay and this formerly middle-of-nowhere place is now even brighter with additional curve lightings. The color combination change every minute that it literally took me about 30 mins just to wait for the prettiest color combination. Although with early morning meetings the next day, I'm still hanging around there until almost 11 pm or so. I was trying to click my camera away - trying different combination - and still wondering how in the hell those pro's in flickr always have better picture than I do. I wonder other than photoshop - was there any other magic potion ha ha...
