Mum and I Set off big time early doors for trip to Koh Chang on the VIP bus... bit more expensive but a nice luxury to have once in a while... ticket price ain't bad with a return! Plus we got the best seat in the house the front two seats on the bus so all the leg room we wanted... happy days... to the envy of the whole bus! On arrival in Koh Chang we had a little issue with accomodation (being that we couldn't find any at a reasonable price), but as back packing mum had settled into this style of living all was sorted pretty quickly and we had a nice little wooden hut to sleep in with on-suite cold shower... within seconds of dropping the back packs we were sat on a beautiful thai beach and it was everything i was expecting and more! The feeling of goign into the water and it being warm... so unique... anywhere you go in europe itdosen't matter how hot it is, you go in the water it is freezing not in Thailand, it's pleasure all the way and having fish biting your feet is also a strange at first but satisfying experience! Ended up at the Treehouse in the evening for a party, Treehouse is definitely the place to be if you are staying on lonely beach! Mum tucked herself straight into a bucket of gin and tonic which went down like water and that was officially the party started! Got chatting to some Aussies and then pulled off some shapes on the dance floor! had a random conversation with a group who thought a guy looked so similar to me that we must be twins... At the end of the night ended up in the sea trying to be a hero trying to find a lost bag... obviously it had fallen into the sea and started floating away errrr no! in my drunken state i just ended up arse over tit in the sea and looked like a drowned rat! great look on the dance floor!
