|  | | OH MY GOD | | | | | this is our 2nd day in India and yesterday we were conned big time! We tried to get to our hotel and our driver said that he couldn't find it so he took us to a little shop which 'sold' holidays and had tourist info. This guy then told us to go to another hotel but we said no and tried to find our own way. We ended up getting conned into taking a little room for 3 times the price of our original room. It was quite cold yesterday but today it is really nice here. Yesterday we tried to book train tickets and there was a guytelling us that the office was closed just to getus to buy dodgy tickets from him! But we seen through that one (well there was a warning in the guide book). Our room for tonight is quite minging but it's alright, we'll have to get used to it.
Tommorrow we are going up north a wee bit to see the Himalayas and we have booked the cheapest ticket(ther are about 5 different classes) so we will probably be sittin with all the chickens 'n' that.
