During our Thailand backpacking experience, a new lust for travelling was created, and this hunger, as we both realized soon after returning to the UK, was impossible to ignore.
We began exploring new possibilities and looked at various travel opportunities.
In the end, both Ferdi and myself agreed, that our need for tasting different world flavours, could only be fulfilled by a Round the World journey!
Therefore, a very warm welcome to our newly updated travel journal site!
We last updated in Thailand, and since then more than a year has gone by. This was a year of immense planning, preparation and hard work, which couldn’t otherwise have made our next trip possible.
Currently we are in South Africa, and will make our way to our first of many destinations in October 2008.
Throughout our trip we will keep you updated with new and exciting news, views, tips and budgets.
Starting off, there will be pics available shortly of our accommodation, which will mainly be our Tent “Hotel”, as well as of other goods and accessories in order to simplify our daily needs.
