It began really slow as i was incredibly worn out from the days before, having spent three solid days packing and cleaning for our imminent eviction. Anyways i had plans to grab a couple items downtown and of course i ran into people as i always do. Hadn't seen Mel and Jordan in awhile so when they said there was a bike polo tourney going on later that night i said sure i'll make it.
Not too much happened after that save for getting free Crave cupcakes... mmmmm! Chocolaty, fluffy, icing goodness!
Sorry sidetracked...
Took me a little while but i finally made it out the door to walk my way cross downtown to where the tourney was happening. Made a couple stops here and there, one of those for booze at my old liquor store (discount baby!). Took some cool shots before my batteries died, which i'll be adding soon enough. Thought i was going the right direction but also kinda felt like i wasn't going to find this place, so i walked the hill that overlooks the Stampede grounds and the Saddledome. All that walking around, beer in my pack, of course i couldn't resist a few sips so the rest is in point form.
Saw the van my buddy Corbin was looking at buying and the guy who bought it. Found the tourney but i was too late and my friends seemed to have left. Ran into a group of girls back on the hill piling out of a limo. Two of the ten or so were having their 18th lol. Gave a couple smokes, got a couple shots, a joint and a ride down to the casino. I've been carrying this $.50 chip from Elbow River Casino around with me just in case. Plus $4.50 i changed it in for a 5 bill and picked a nickel slot to play. Won $152! A couple shots at the casino and Beckhams on 17th from my bartender pal Mark and i was well on my drunken stumble home.
Today is Sunday and i'm chillaxin' in a Second Cup, on my second large Icepresso and on my way to get some groceries and make a stop at the video store.
Till next time...
