We arrived after a long flight at 1:30 am. By 10am we were on the Great Wall, which is a really big wall in China. A kid I once taught answered this question: What is the name of the wall that separates England and Scotland that the Romans built? with the answer: The Great Wall of China? Hence the title.
It was really quite surreal to be there after having left our house in Manchester and then Derbyshire only a few hours earlier. The wall is very impressive, running 600km through China. We had a bit of a long climb after turning down the cable car. 30 minutes of very steep steps up! Karen renamed it the Great Steps of China. We took billions of pics but will post a few later... money running out in internet cafe.
