Today is Sunday. Robert finally let us sleep in. We woke up at 11 am and got lunch at this one place. I had fettuccini con pollo. My meal with a drink was 80 lemps. I think I got food poisoning because I have been having to go to the restroom every 4 hours. Robert said that its because there are different bacteria here than in the U.S. Viet said that everyone usually has diarrhea for the first 4-6 weeks before the body gets used to the food. We took a little golf cart taxi to the Bird Park. The ride was 50 cents which is 10 lemps. The Bird Park was awesome. It cost 114 lemps to get in which is almost 6 dollars. There were Macaws, Tucans, Owls, Hawks, and other tropical birds. We played with the Macaws, and parrot-looking birds. We took tons of pictures. It was awesome. We left and went to the Hotel again. I went to Hondutel to call Kaitlyn for about 30 minutes. The phone calls to the U.S. are cheaper than the calls in the country. To the U.S., it is 2 lemps per minute. For in country calls, it is 4 lemps per minute. You can talk for 50 minutes for 5 dollars to the U.S. We walked around and decided that we were going to call the night early tonight. Robert and I had plans to go to Guatemala on Wednesday, but we talked to two Guatemalans and they told us the really good places to go which are Antigua, Panamichel, and San Pedro la Leguna. We are going to go to Guatemala from Monday to Friday.
