I'm kind of getting ahead of myself with this post, but I fly out Sunday and can't forsee myself blogging before that! The past couple of weeks have gone by especially fast, kind of a flurry of cities! I spent a weekend in Skiathos with Alexandra and we had a blast, short and sweet...exactly what was needed. From there it was mostly family hang time with my cousins in Volos then Trikala, back to the village for a quick round up of my stuff and now Trikala again. Tomorrow I'm off to Athens and by Sunday I will be in Cairo again! It's hard to believe how quickly (and slowly!) the 6 weeks in Greece has past!
There are things I won't miss, such as the aforementioned second hand smoke, the constant sitting around on my butt, the bureaucracy and being broke ALL THE TIME. But I will miss some things...like getting dressed up in nice clothes (very UN-backpacker like), wearing high heels, dancing till the day break, bouzoukia, great music and mostly my family. It's always hard saying goodbye to the ones you love, but I've had 23 years of practice to make it easier! I also have loads of photos and inside jokes to tide me over till the next time I come...and until then, this is officially my last post from Europe!
