Today we were out the door by 6am to catch a flight to corn island. We got on a small propeller plane that was barely big enough to fit our team. Since it was a small plane, it didn't get as high and was in the clouds most of the time. Consequently it was VERY bumpy and several from the team were gripping the arm rests hard and looking green when we got there. Corn island is beautiful and we are staying at the best hotel on the island. It is steps from the beach and the rooms are big and its very clean. This afternoon we did a children's service and the kids really had fun. Tonight we had to split into two teams because we did two simultaneous services at different locations on the island. Adam led a service at Marco's spanish church and I (PK) led the service at Popsi's church which is English but heavily accented caribbean. They were nervous about being split up because we had all our skits down already and splitting requirred several people doing new parts and because we had to create two worship teams out of one. Nevertheless, both services were very annointed, probably the most of any on the trip. It was like God was giving us a shot in the arm to finish the trip strong. After the services were over, Adam's team came back to Popsi's church. At this point, Sam and Zach and Savannah were already leading our half in more worship and when the other team joined it turned into an hour worship service that was dripping with God's presence. They played 'you are good' for 45 minutes solid. After this, we had a quick dinner and back to the hotel. Tomorrow we don't have to be out until noon, so it will be nice to sleep in as we have had to set alarms every day thus far. Childrens program and feeding tomorrow and one last evening service before heading back to Managua Thursday. More to come...
