Are you going to go my way?
After Dad left we've spent the last week and a half in Dar Es Salaam. We're kinda on a holiday from our holiday and have spent most days enjoying HBO at the hotel. This television decision has been fueled in part by the fact that the city is spread very wide and to get from the cinema to the western shopping mall is about a $20 taxi one way. Even when you want to take a short taxi they try and convince you that where you're going isn't far enough and that you should really want to go to the restaurant on the Peninsular instead of the one around the corner. We had one man offer us a taxi to the railway station the day the train left; despite the fact we had no bags or anything with us - I wonder if anybody ever went with him?
Next stop Usambara Mountains, so until then "Taxi Bwana?"
