It's almost time

Time is flying by now. I have spent the last several days starting my induction process. I thought I was getting out of all the nightmares of the Praxis III in Ohio, but yet again due to NCLB, No Child Left Behind, we are going through the wringer. Overall the license process for myself is a two year process. This year I will have meetings, assignments, observations, etc. to due throughout the course of the year and if I pass this year I move onto an annual contract next year. If I pass my evaluation next year I will then go on a continuing contract. It is going to be an interesting year with lots to do, but I am looking forward to it. I have two more weeks before I actually start at the school and they will be spent preparing documents, getting things for the classroom etc. as well as continuing to attend induction meetings, and curriculum and standards meetings, woo-hoo. All else is good, Chuck took his test and we are just waiting on the final meeting with the office and then we will hopefully have some wonderful news to report. Unfortunately with getting up at 5am and all its not even 9pm and I could fall asleep, so I will end this for now, but will update soon!!! Love and miss everyone!
