So on Saturday I went to the site bar for my first time. Me and three other guys I work with closed the bar......hahaha dont worry it closes at 9pm
I had my first Madagascar beer and probably my last. It's called THB Three Horse Beer and it tastes like tin so I switched to the only other option which was Hinekin. Or you can buy a bottle of South African Wine but I didn't want to drink a whole bottle. For three beers it cost less than 4$ Canadian. They have a big screen TV in there so we watched rugby because rugby and soccor are pretty much the only things on TV here. I have two movie stations which are ok sometimes and 4 sports stations. I watched rally car racing one night dad :)
Today marks three weeks since I left, so another three and I will be home. I can't wait to see everyone and I can't wait to see the property should like its going to be very nice once it's all done.
I got a kettle yesterday. It's funny, things you normally don't think would excite you excite you here when you dont really have much. One of the guys here was going home and when he got into town he bought me a kettle and had his driver send it back because he knew I was looking for one and couldn't find one when I went into town. It was like christmas morning I was so excited because now when I get my tea I can make it. Hope everyone is good at home. Miss you all
