Yes, that's right - we're here in music-filled Salzburg, having been on the Sound of Music locations tour today, and watching the movie now. We got here yesterday from Vienna, having spent a very pleasant night in a castle youth hostel in the snow of the Vienna hillside, after a day's train trip from Prague. Here in Salzburg we've continued to be very fortunate with the weather, and are heading of tomorrow morning for Zurich. There's lots of snow around everywhere and it's really cold, but very very beautiful all the same, and today going around and seeing all the sites from the movie was a real highlight. We've met some really nice people at this youth hostel too - all Australians!
Will write again soon. Hope 2004 is going really well for us all.
