Greetings faithful readers! Here's a not so big surprise... I don't have internet access! I'm at a friend's house severely imposing right now, so the updattes are going to be quite in frequent I'm afraid. I just want to say that I am living with a wonderful host family who have 3 children and what seems to be thousands of grandchildren and cousins. Small kids are running in and out of the house almost constantly, covered in dirt and rice and all things beautiful and earthy. I live in a town called Chamarel. IT is extremely small (500 people) and in the mountains. I have been drafted to the town's soccer team (first game is Sunday). Teaching is difficult but extremely enjoyable and rewarding. The children are very well behaved, and absolutely adorable! Life is very slow here. We do a lot of sitting, talking, listening, relaxing, eating (amazing food. I can't describe it, but all vegetables that are cooked are known as 'bread'). The people are unbelievable nice. You always greet everyone when you come into a room. Men shake hands with other men and do 2 bisous with women. You always say bonzoor to everyone you pass on the street. People are just nice here. It's beautiful. Anyway, I'm going to sign off for now.
