Bathrooms are soooo much nicer in Europe! Here are the features I am most grateful for:
~ Drinking water from the tap!
~ Being able to brush my teeth with water from the tap, not bottled water!
~ No fees to use bathrooms (yet...)
~ There is (almost) always toilet paper provided!
~ No squat toilets!
~ Hot water is available in the showers!
~ Toilet paper goes in the toilet, not a trash can!
However, I did enjoy Egypt, even with the gross bathrooms.
Things I miss most about Egypt:
~ Hearing the call to prayer 5 times a day
~ Minarets in the skyline
~ Dry heat!
~ Eggplant
~ Cats everywhere
Things I miss from Turkey:
~ Feta cheese with every meal
~ A more mature travel crowd...
~ wildflowers
