My journey to Asia started in January early this year and on our trip to Phnom Penh i found a new face of Cambodia completely different from the past. Cambodia used to be a place haunted by civil war for decades, but now Cambodia is full of hope with much progress in economy and infrastructure development and peace in the whole country.

Fast development in the city, i could experience Phnom Penh where i spent more than one week to understand the city and place. People are very friendly and nice to tourists and especially, their faces are full of smiles. In Phnom Penh, i could find a very small boutique villa called Frangipani Villa (www.frangipanihotel.com) to stay in the middle of Phnom Penh and I could not believe that the hotel is run by Cambodians who are fully of philosophy to bring new ideas of sustainable tourism and child protection to all hotels and guesthouses.

I wish I could go there very often to see the progress and development of Cambodia.
