It's my first full day in Eisenach. I ate a delicious breakfast then met with my other NEH Bach Institute members for a class. We started singing a canon, discussed plans for the week, and learned about our curriculum presentation due during the last week. Yes, I have to study and work a little while I'm here. After a delicious lunch at a nearby deli, we went on a walking tour of the town. We visited the church, Bach's school, the Luther House, and the Bach House, among other places. I tried a beer just because I thought I should, but couldn't finish it. FYI--The picture is staged.
