I have several very crazy days behind me, finally. Those days I wasn't sleeping much, I mean 2-3 hours sometimes bit more. At nights I was working and during the days I was enjoying Crete and the beauty you can find here...

This all culminated on Monday when I rented a quadbike and I was driving wherever I wanted, instead of sleeping and preparing for my night shift.

My first plan was to rent a scooter, I mean small motorbike but after chatting with a man who is renting all kinds of means of transport I decided to rent a quadbike and I don't regret it.

At first I was driving just along the coast line to Malia and behind Malia...and then back to Stalis and to Hersonissos, Old Hersonissos and to Mochos - the best part of my trip! Mochos is a village but it's not on the coastline! It's up in the mountains! The road up there was very nice with many curves and beautiful views of the north cretan coastline, seeing Hersonissos, Stalis, Malia.

My journey up to Mochos from Stalis wasn't very fast because I was stopping to much and enjoying the splendid views of the places downthere, below me...The most beautiful view was for sure from the very top of the road where is a very nice viewpoint. Let me describe it to you briefly.

After 7-8 kms you get to the top of the road and here is the view. The spell of this view is of course everything you can see around, especially below you - coastline but there is something more than this. This is two wooden benches near the edge of the slope... The best thing is to see it because one cannot describe it by the words. I'll upload the photos.

to be continued....
